Return and Refund Policy

Returns and Refund Policy for The Scribes Corner

Effective Date: 9th May 2025

At The Scribes Corner, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.


 

1. Returns

1.1 Physical Books

  • You may return new, unused physical books within [14/30] days of delivery.
  • Items must be in their original condition, free of damage or markings. 
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or damaged item sent).

1.2 Digital Products (eBooks, PDFs, Audiobooks)

  • Digital items are non-returnable and non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, except in cases of technical issues or accidental duplicate purchases.
     

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Please contact us within [5–7] days of delivery.
  • Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo if applicable. 
  • We will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit—whichever you prefer.
     

3. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email. 
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within [5–7 business days]. 
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
     

4. How to Request a Return

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return your item for a refund and place a new order.


6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny returns or refunds in cases of:

  • Obvious misuse or damage by the customer 
  • Returns initiated after the stated return window 
  • Unauthorized returns without contacting us first
